About the Artist :

What role does art play in your personal well-being?

“My art is my connection to the free world. My access to life beyond the electric fences and cement walls. All of my family have either passed away or forgotten that I’m still alive. My art allows me to show my pain and sorrow for the wrongs I have done. I attempt to express my regret for all the trouble I have caused others and maybe let the viewer see that very different from what I was 30 years ago. -R. Grce”

Does your art have any connection to your personality?

“My art is a direct reflection of my personality. My world is very dark and lonely, so I try to bring as much light and color to everything I draw in hopes it will make others smile and feel better. -R. Grce”

Skull & Roses

$90.00

A one-of-a-kind, unframed mixed-media drawing that commands attention and emotion. Created with vibrant color ballpoint pens, traditional black ink, and soft pastels, this piece fuses intricate detail with raw expressive energy. It honors the sacred symbolism and cultural reverence of Día de los Muertos while channeling the rebellious, boundary-breaking spirit that reshaped the 1980s rock scene.
The result is a striking visual dialogue between tradition and defiance — a bold collector’s piece that embodies remembrance, resistance, and artistic freedom. A must-have work for those who value culture, edge, and authenticity in their art.
