What role does art play in your personal well-being?

“Art has been a huge part of my wellbeing, it has gotten me through really hard times. I lost many loved ones and friends. I had to face my past and I can see and feel it in some of my art. My art has been the backbone of life and will someday become my autobiography. My vision through art is to share both my good and bad outward expressions in order to sell my work in order to put aside funds for abused kids and others who suffer I this world. – Imani’s Master Piece’s”

Does your art have any connection to your personality?

“I am hoping my personality shows in each piece of art that I produce. Each piece of art holds that goodness in me that some might think died with my past and is gone for good. I have been fortunate enough to have been a part of an exhibit called Deadman Walking at the San Francisco Opera House.
